Through various websites all over the net, a new series is being talked about. This was posted on Actress Stephanie Lemelin Website:

WOW. Ok... I am beyond thrilled to announce that I was recently cast in the new animated series, YOUNG JUSTICE LEAGUE, based on the famous (and awesome!?) DC Comics. I seriously could not be more excited about being welcomed into this amazing family... what a fantastic way to start the new year! I will be voicing the character of Arrowette (see ridiculously hot avatar below!!! um, could I love her anymore?) as well as several supporting cast members... Due to the extreme popularity of this series, however, that's about all I can say... for now. So excited, this is really a dream come true for me, I have ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A SATURDAY MORNING CARTOOON!!! Woohoo!

The post was deleted which more than likley means that she was not supose to talk about it at all. We've also dug around and found out that Tequan Richmond read for the part of Aqualad.
Then there is this news that someone had posted over atAction Figures Insider:
"WB has 3 NEW series on their slate, Mystery INC- the new Scooby show, Young Justice, and Bruce Timms CG Green Lantern for 4Q 2011. ALL for Cartoon Network, who originally passed on the new Thundercats. Both Mattel and Hasbro got the series pitch and passed on the toys for couple different reasons. "Lack of cool tech" the big one. But Ban Dai did a hard core play for the rights. They weren't interested in a "Classic" adult line, and thought that the new take on the series was something very different for the toy aisles. Which is what Mattel and Hasbro were afraid of.
I could go on and on about this... as I DO know A LOT about it
"It's Sorta THE Young Justice. They will be going out with this BIG TIME at Comic Con. From what I saw, it's Martian Girl, Aqualad, Nightwing, Impulse, Arrowette, and Connor Kent. The poster gives me the tone that it's a cross between JLU and TT. I liked the look a lot. It's not quite Timm-style, but it's not All Murikami'd out like Teen Titans.
The kids were the focus of the poster, in the center, but The JL was behind them. "
Time will tell if this series is made, and BatmanYTB will bring all of the news as we get it!

Sounds cool if it does happen.
Yeah Mattel, great move on you're part. " Lack of Cool Tech? " so that you can't have various verisons of characters so that you can give x # of repaints with accessories that don't make sense with the characters. Really, that's the lame excuse you use. Never had any problems just making up " Cool Tech " in you're other kid base toylines before.
You passed the Teen Titans line because you felt the show was more " Girl base " ( If I remember correctly ), which in the end proved to be a hit with both genders and it almost all ages. Bandai gets the Teen Titans line and it did very well, and even if there were multiple verisons of Robin, Beast Boy, and Cyborg, they were able to still come out with other characters, including the females and villians within a short spand compare to you're JL/JLU line. Plus, if you look at the line over all, as it progressed, they improved on the sculpting and articuation ( The final verisons of both Starfire and Raven were very accurate to the show compare to the 1st verisons ) . I'm hoping Bandai takes what they learned during from the Teen Titans line, sculpts it as good as the final few waves, have the articulation that doesn't hinder the look of the characters, and hopefully get their scale issues fix ( I mean, 4" Slade/Deathstroke and Cinderblock while sculpted very good, but were the same size as the 4" Titens members instead of being taller. Of course, there was a approx 5"-6" line had those characters as well, but still). Wonder if Bandai will be able to do the Justice League characters from this show as well, since it seems to be hinted that they maybe in this series from time to time with their shadows.
I can't really blame Hasbro because really, they have the Marvel Comics license, so it maybe consider a conflict of interest if they did get the line, so no surprise there. They will just make figures from varous Marvel base properites, such as comics, moives, video games, and cartoons.
But still, the fact that Action Figure Insider it seems to imply that both Mattel and Hasbro are afaird " that the new take on the series was something very different for the toy aisles " seems kind of B.S. to me. Having something very different for the toy aisles is not necessary a bad thing, as it helps stand out . Take a look at Transformers when it 1st came out. Or even currently Bakugan, which is apparently still selling well. The only disadvanage is that if it catches on, you have to work hard to make sure it's not just a fad. And aside from the style of the characters designs, how were toys based on this going to be any different from other toys based on other cartoon series? |

This sounds pretty cool. I hope it's done right! Btw, is it just me or is Aqualad black???? |

From my understadning, isn't Arrowette a comedic character? Where the heck is Speedy?! |
on February 04 2010 13:35:02
No Raz, Arrowette was not a comedic character:
Cissie's mother was an Olympic-level archer and insisted that her daughter reach the same level. Bonnie had developed a psychological disorder and forced Cissie to train. Apparently from seeing Green Arrow and Speedy in action, she developed trick arrows and the 'Miss Arrowette' identity to use as a hero.
Bonnie brought Cissie to stop the Spazz. Impulse and Max Mercury defeated Spazz and had Bonnie reported for child endangerment. However, Cissie continued to train while overseen by Dr. Marcy Money, who remarked that she really was a good archer, better than her mother.
She joined Young Justice as Arrowette. However, Cissie left the team after her counselor was murdered by her ex-husband. Superboy (Kon-El) had to stop Cissie from shooting the man with an arrow. Angry, Cissie broke her bow and left. |

Ok, I guess I just always assumed she was because of her rediculously garish costume. |

I'm assuming this Arrowette will be Cissie. Her mom was arrowette for awhile, dated Green Arrow and stalked him. |

cool, cool. way better in design in comparison to teen titans if you ask me.
but a CG green lantern series???? man, that is some awesome news.
and so will the JL members show up in the YJL series? cuz that would be pretty cool. i'm excited to see nightwing. i'm hoping for some tim action too. when will tim get some good animated treatment??? never? |
