Like many of the creative elements that were added for the futuristic take on Batman Beyond, new slang words were introduced. Below are definitions of the various slang used on the cartoon series.
Dreg (noun): a loser or punk; "Get a job, lousy dreg"
Fiz (noun): a soda or beverage; "Dana, wanna go get a fiz?"
REM Deprived (adjective): tired or exhausted; "Man, I'm totally REM deprived"
Rip (verb): to be very cool or awsome; "Our new hangout rips"
Schway (adjective): very cool or awesome; "The new Bat... schway"
Slag (verb): to destroy something; "Get the guns. Slag him!"
Slagged (adjective): tired or exhausted; "I need some sleep. I'm totally slagged"
Slaggit (verb): to curse something; "I forgot to study for the exam! Slaggit!"
Spry (adjective): nimble; "He looks pretty spry for a guy who's gotta be in his, what, mid-80s?"
Twip (noun): a mischievous person; "Beat it, twip!"
