Aquaman later joined the expanded Justice League. At one time, he attempted to jolt Shayera Hol out of her self-imposed exile citing her as a once worthy warrior in his eyes. However, Aquaman's tenure with the League was short lived. The World Assembly refused to accept the danger posed by global warming. As a result, Atlantis withdrew from the Assembly and Aquaman went on leave.
