An Irish immigrant of Chinese descent, Bridget Clancy (known as Clancy to her friends) moved to Bludhaven and serves as landlady in Dick's building. Upon meeting Dick, Clancy was immediately taken with him.

Clancy and Dick have been out on a few dates, but they are always interrupted by the city's need for Nightwing. Still, Clancy is friendly and supportive to Dick. The two have become somewhat close, despite Clancy's failed attempts at sparking a romantic relationship with him. When Dick began to date Barbara Gordon, his relationship to Clancy solidified as a friendship.
