You should make it go to when you become his grandson at the end, I think it would be fun to pick somebody that looks like you younger.

Relatives: Selina Kyle (Sister), Helena (Neice), Tom Burton (Husband, Deceased)

Maggie was born in one of the poorest neighbourhoods in Gotham. Her mother had dreamed of something better and she kept herself away from the world and from her daughters. She preferred the company of cats. She suicided when Maggie was a kid. During the following six years, she and her sister were raised by her father, a drunkard who often hit the kids. In order to protect her younger sister, Selina usually took the worst part of it. Eventually, her father died because of alcohol. Her sister had already left home to live on the streets and Maggie chose to become a nun.

During the next years, Maggie had little contact with Selina. Her sister had gone into theft and prostitution and she did not want her sister to get messed with her. However, she failed to protect her when Stan, the man she had worked for in the streets, kidnapped Maggie to have revenge from Selina. Stan tortured the woman until Selina found them. The woman had to kill him in order to rescue Maggie and, because of the shock, she assumed completely the personality of Catwoman. Catwoman left Maggie at her convent and asked her to take care of Holly, a young prostitute whom she had befriended, so she could be raised as an ordinary kid.

Both Holly and Maggie spent some years in the convent, but they eventually decided that it was no place for them. Thus, after the news about Selina's death arrived to the convent, both left the place. Eventually, Maggie fell in love and Holly decided to return to Gotham. Maggie married the man and became Mrs Burton. Sometime later, her husband, who worked in investment, was transferred to Gotham and Maggie tried to make a fresh start with Selena, who turned out not to be dead after all. Even though her sister had at first mixed feelings about meeting her, Holly finally talked her into doing it. Maggie was nothing but glad to recover her sister but Catwoman has powerful enemies and, once more, her life was now at stake. Black Mask, from whom Selina had stolen millions in diamonds, kidnapped both her and her husband, tortured and murdered him in front of her. Even though Selina managed to rescue her, she seems to have lost her mind. She is currently in a sanitarium under care of Leslie Thompkins.
