Able Crown was a crime boss from Gotham City that headed up many of the street gangs which formed the Burnley Town Massive. He also owned an orphanage, the Able Crown Youth Center, which was destroyed by Kyle Abbot in an attempt to kill Batman. However, he believed it was destroyed by the Colombians. With this false information he was controlled for a short time by Ra's`al Ghul's agent Whisper A'Daire, but when he discovered that she was only partly human, he blew the operation's cover to the police. Able Crown was later killed at a gathering of Gotham's crime bosses when he reached for his cigarette lighter. The other bosses assumed he was going for his gun and a fire fight broke out, leaving many of them dead.
