Kate Riordan was the latest member of a highly sucessful and respected police dynasty in Bludhaven. When she and her relatives were gathered together for a photo shoot, the underworld saw this as a wonderful moment to strike, killing them all in a huge explosion. All except Kate, who was thrown free and horribly disigured. Enraged, she recently returned to the 'haven to exact revenge on those who were involved with the photo shoot, killing quite a number of them.
