PLOT:
Batman responded to the signal - Gordon told him of some recent muggings that had left three dead. When Batman disappeared, Gordon was sure it was the Batman he knew. Back in a ruined Wayne Manor, Bruce remembered his parents and Alfred. Batman found evidence and went out as "Matches" Malone to investigate. Batman took down the mugger / murderer and contemplated giving up the Bat.
