PLOT:
Inspired by a visit to a funhouse, the Joker begins a series of upside down crimes. He steals a priceless gem from Prince Rageel, capturing Batman and stealing the Bat-plane in the process. Batman is placed in a trap, but he turns the tables on the Joker. He leaves the crook for the police, then returns the stolen gem.
Joker escapes before the police arrive and continues his upside down crimes. Batman deciphers the clues which lead to a party where guests are costumed as movie stars. Joker's gang strikes, but Batman breaks up the robbery, apprehending the Joker again.

PLOT:
Wounded gangster Bugs Conklin kidnaps Dr. Davenport, a surgeon. To ensure that Davenport cooperates, the crooks also kidnap Davenport's daughter Marjory. Dick Grayson notices Marjory's absence when he attempts to pick her up for a date. Dr. Davenport slips a coded message to Dick to bring help.
Dick contacts Batman, then tries to rescue Marjory as Robin. He fails and Batman is captured too, but Robin breaks free. He gives Batman enough time to recover, then together they apprehend Bugs and his gang. Marjory and her father are saved, but Marjory is now enamored with Robin instead of Dick.

PLOT:
Alfred loans his services to Mrs. Van Upsitart whose normal butler has taken ill. When a theft of the family jewels is discovered, Alfred suspects Oswald, Mrs. Van Upsitart's nephew. When he approaches one of the guests, Mr. Piper, with his suspicions, Piper reveals himself as the real crook. Piper thought Alfred was accusing him, so Alfred plays it off as if he knew Piper was the thief. Piper is then apprehended, and Alfred returns to the service of Bruce Wayne.
