PLOT:
Millionaire Bet-a-Million Bannister is taken to a secret part of Gotham called Shadow City where he can partake in gambling. Bannister learns the casino is run by the Joker and threatens to tell the police. Joker's men try to kill Bannister, but Batman stops them.

Batman tries to locate Shadow City, but he can't find its secret location. When another millionaire, Felix Lathrop, mentions the city, Batman and Robin follow him. They shut down Joker's gambling casino and other illegal operations, closing Shadow City permanently.


TITLE: Adventures of Alfred - The Great Handcuff King

PLOT:
Alfred purchases some handcuffs to assist him in his desire to be a detective. He visits his butler friend Ronny Lowndes to show off his new purchase, but finds Ronny out of town.

Alfred's enthusiasm to test the handcuffs leads him to try them out on Ronny's substitute. Unbeknowst to Alfred the man is a crook. Alfred unwittingly stops the man and his partners from looting a safe, capturing them with the handcuffs. Everyone believes Alfred's actions were intentional, but Alfred knows it was only an accident.

TITLE: Shirley Holmes, Policewoman

PLOT:
Alfred meets policewoman Shirley Holmes while walking in the park. When he returns to Wayne Manor and tells Bruce about her, Bruce decides to send Shirley undercover to expose a racketeering operation.

Shirley successfully infiltrates the mob. They agree to take Shirley to their hideout, but just then Alfred walks by and blows her cover. Shirley is taken prisoner, but Batman and Robin come to her aid. They rescue her and shut down the racketeers.

TITLE: Batman Goes to Washington

PLOT:
Batman and Robin meet an out-of-luck ex-con named Danny the Dip. Batman is inspired by Danny's story to speak up for ex-cons having trouble finding work. Senator Vandercook hears Batman's speech and asks him to come to Washington to speak before Congress.

On the way to the congressional hearing, Batman is assaulted by several gang bosses who don't want their underlings to go straight. Batman is captured before he can testify, but Danny and three other ex-cons rescue him. Then they capture the gang leaders, turning them over to the FBI. Batman testifies to Congress, which helps pass a bill to build factories which will employee ex-cons.
