PLOT:
Black Mask and the False Face Society continued making moves in Gotham City's underworld. A man assuming the identity of Black Spider approached them to join. He was given the task of killing anyone but Bruce Wayne (whom Black Mask held a personal vendetta against) at his upcoming masquerade. Black Spider made his move, but it was thwarted by Wayne's clumsiness. Batman had to let him escape due to police responding to the shots fired. Harvey Bullock was released from the hospital and rejoined the force in a limited role.
