Batman continued to investigate a possible connection between Lew Moxon and his father (and possibly the death of his father). He cornered Angelo Barretti, a former associate of Moxon. Barretti told him the history: one of Moxon's men was shot. Moxon forced Dr. Wayne to operate on him in his home. The man made a full recovery - Moxon did not order a hit on Thomas and Martha Wayne.
