PLOT:
Bruce becomes acquainted with the fashion model turned national leader Jezebel Jet. The two begin to really hit of off but she parts company to go and mingle with another high profile guest at the event - the Prime Minister's Wife.

Outside, Alfred sees an unmarked van toss out the Langstroms and speed away. Alfred checks on them and Kirk Langstrom reveals that in order to save his wife's life he was forced to turn over a copy of his Man-Bat serum to his wife's kidnappers. The serum is obviously put into use quickly as a new breed of Ninja Man-Bats fill the sky and crash through the ceiling of the fundraiser. While the Man-Bats are attacking the guests, Alfred rushes to help the innocent civilians escape and delivers the Bat-costume to Bruce.

After putting on the cape and cowl, Bruce begins fighting off the Man-Bats but the attacks continue. He realizes that they are after the Prime Minister's wife so he attempts to help her but is inevitably knocked unconscious during the battle.

He awakens later somewhere deep within the sewers of London alongside the PM's wife. The mastermind behind the attack finally reveals herself as none other than Talia al Ghul - Bruce is less than shocked.

Talia takes the Prime Minister's wife with her as she returns to the mountains to perfect the Man-Bat army's training. But before she leaves she introduces Bruce to their son - Damian, the result of a night of passion Bruce shared with Talia after being "drugged senseless." Brandishing a sword and holding it to Batman's throat, Damian, heir to the Demon's Empire, meets his father for the first time.
