Green Arrow says not to receive the code as he is not convinced that the Batman in the video is their leader - but rather an imposter hired by the Black Glove. Batgirl agrees but she says that the real Batman would want them to receive the transmission so that they can use it to trace back the Black Glove's location. Oliver vehemently disagrees but Batgirl wins the argument and the team decides to have Salah intercept the coordinates.

As soon as REMAC gets the transmission he begins spasming and shorting out, attacking Anissa and knocking her out cold. Overcome by a virus hidden in the transmission, REMAC explodes, destroying the penthouse and killing Salah and Rex in the process.

Later at the hospital, the Outsiders (or what's left of them) stand by Anissa's bedside. The REMAC attack has left her in a coma and Francine Langstrom seems unsure whether or not she'll even wake up. Grace blames Cassandra for the explosion that caused Anissa's condition as well as the deaths of Salah and Metamorpho. After lashing out at Batgirl she storms off, effectively calling an end to the Outsiders.

Left without a team, Batgirl returns to what's left of the Batcave where she and Tim go over the video received from the fake Batman. Tim helps Cass decode the video where they find a hidden message from Dr. Hurt hidden inside the encryption. In it, Hurt explains his plans to fully destroy not only Batman himself but everything important to him - including the Outsiders.

Enraged, Cassandra puts her fist through the video monitor and vows to keep the Outsiders together even if she has to go and round them up by herself.
