PLOT:
Barbara sends the new operative Inifinity into the Research and Development lab inside Macintech headquarters to find out how they stay so cutting-edge in their technological advancements. Before the mission can be completed, Barbara is forced to order Inifinity to hold her position as Black Canary bursts through her door. Canary brings in the defeated Manhunter (whom Babs had sent to spy on Dinah) and seems the slightest bit peeved that the Birds are so close to her home turf in Star City.

Oracle tells her that she might need Speedy’s help and wanted to make sure everything is okay. Dinah angrily leaves, telling Oracle all she needs to do is ask.

Back at Macintech headquarters, Infinity had disobeyed her orders and made her way to the R&D lab. Inside she finds a stockpile of reverse engineered villain-tech apparently stolen from the safehouses of the Villains when they were marooned on Salvation Run. Along with the technology, Infinity finds Gizmo. Killed by Sivana, Gizmo was kept for research in Sivana's lab when the mad genius was captured and taken to the prison planet. Knowing his capabilities for scientific research, Macintech reanimated Gizmo. The pint-sized mad-man wakes from his suspended animation and attacks Infinity, sealing off the chamber. Luckily, Barbara is able to send Huntress in to save the day. She rescues Infinity and the two escape from the Villian-tech filled lab.

But the mad-scientists weren't the only villains whose headquarters were ravaged in their absense. Macintech had sent Savenger units to sevaral villain hide-outs including one of The Jokers and when one of the Scavanger soldiers comes into the Visionary office cackling and smiling uncontrollably it appears as though the Clown Prince of Crime isn't happy about the invasion of privacy. Having followed the Scavanger trooper back to Macintech headquarters, Joker arrives and wants to know just what is going on!
