PLOT:
Zatanna successfully removes the false memories planted in Manhunter's mind by the Visionary but just as one fire is put out, another one is starting. Barbara hasn't heard from Calculator in several days and her leads are beginning to dry up. Without warning, the Syndicate makes their move and sends Scavenger troops to overtake the Platinum Flats Police building.

Barbara sends the Birds to the rescue but they find themselves greatly outnumbered and out-gunned. Luckily Charlie shows up and showcases a previously untested capacity for teleportation by zapping herself along with Huntress's bike into the police station. The Birds regroup and make a second stand but the battle is over quicker than expected when Gizmo triggers a remote detonation device inside the Troops' gear. With no witnesses to interrogate, the Birds return to base.

Unfortunately a tracking device was slipped onto Zinda's jacket during the scuffle and Barbara's alarm systems detect it and begin going off the minute the Birds arrive. Already on thin ice with the Platinum Flats police, Barbara sends the Birds across town to try and avoid detection. Unfortunately it appears as though one diligent officer has already arrived on the scene.

Barbara goes to answer the door for the police officer but to her surprise the man on the other side of the door is actually Joker in disguise.
