Joker pulls up to Clocktower Systems a second time and immediately lets himself in. Barbara, unafraid of the madman who put her in a wheelchair confronts him head on, using her weaponry skills to hold her own and deflect his attacks. Barbara hauls off and uses one of her sticks to bash Joker in the mouth, shattering his teeth and ruining his trademark smile. Witnessing the devastation to his mouth, Joker flies into a rage and throws Barbara down a flight of stairs. Luckily, Misfit teleports back just in time. With the rest of the Birds following close behind, Joker flees the scene. Shortly thereafter a dental surgeon and his assistant are found dead, smiles etched across their faces - leading Barbara to believe that Joker managed to have his grin restored before skipping town.

The Syndicate reconvenes at the Fun Haus where they find themselves once again short one member. Gizmo suggests that they use Calculator to fill Joker's spot and the others agree. Unfortunately for them, Barbara, having survived her fall down the steps is ready to take the battle to them. She and her newly returned Bird, Black Canary are going to be delivering the next strike personally.
