Holly and Karon bumped into Slam at a movie theater. Black Mask watched.
Catwoman broke into Wayne Manor and spoke with Bruce. She told him the JLA had mind-wiped her and altered her into becoming a hero. She asked Bruce who she really was. He assured her they could not have changed her - she was always in control of herself. After she left, Bruce contacted Zatanna.
On her way home (in a stolen car), Catwoman was pulled over by the police. She escaped and got home to learn Slam had been taken by Black Mask.
SmartBomb (actually Slam's son) called the office and told them he was breaking off the undercover gig. He and Catwoman got to Slam at the same time. He was still alive. Sam admitted to her who he was.
Black Mask escaped.
