PLOT:
Una, completely possessed by OMAC tries repeatedly to assimilate with Karate Kid but fails each time. Val is offered a hand by Red Robin but turns it down when he realizes that Jason Todd's help came in the form of a grenade. OMAC/Una beats Karate Kid to a pulp and the flies off with his lifeless body deciding to perform an autopsy in order to determine why assimilation failed.

Mary leads Holly and Harley to the place where the gods are being kept prisoner by Darkseid. Kneeling beside the fiery prison gate, Mary timidly calls on the power of Shazam and a gigantic lightning bolt rushes from the skies, cracking open the hellgate and freeing the gods. When the dust settles Mary is once more in her "white" outfit - her challenges past, her powers restored. As a thank you for freeing them, the gods bestow partial god-like power to Holly and Harley and instructions to hunt down the New Gods who imprisoned them.

Reinvigorated and more powerful than ever the girls go after the scent of Granny Goodness. They take out Granny's guards and begin a foot chase through Apokolips . Before they can reach Granny however, a mysterious hand stops Granny in mid-run. He tells her that it is her time to die and she immediately bursts in to flames, turning into nothing but charred bones in an instant. The stranger departs before the girls can thank him for killing Granny, but now the girls face a new challenge. Without the use of Granny's boom tube Holly, Harley and Mary need to find an alternate form of transportation off of Apokolips . Just as they begin to ponder their new situation they are accosted by Kyle, Donna and Ray who are also looking for an escape.

Finally Piper stands alone in hell, miserable and chained to the rotting hand of his dead best friend. It is revealed that the stranger who stopped Piper from killing himself was Desaad. Desaad frees Piper of his shackle and takes Hartley on a tour of Apokolips. Desaad tells him that his music has the power to control the anti-life equation to rule Apokolips. Before Piper can make a decision as to whether or not he wants to be the new god (or would that be demon) of Apokolips , an explosion sends them flying in different directions. The war for Apokolips is over it seems. Brother Eye has fully assimilated all of Apokolips .
