PLOT:
Police officer Ed Gregory is wounded after confronting a gang of crooks during a robbery. After his release from the hospital Gregory is promoted to detective and tracks down the gang leader, Torch Cleary, who shot him as well as one of the guards. Cleary is sentenced to death.
Later crooks plant evidence indicating Cleary was innocent. Gregory is devastated when he thinks he arrested the wrong man. Batman and Robin capture the crooks, who then reveal that Gregory was correct all along and Cleary was guilty. Finally, Gregory's pride is restored.
