PLOT:
The employees of Papa Brugel's costume shop discover the register is short $99 at closing. Believing one of the others stole the money, but not wanting them to get caught, the employees each try to earn and replace the missing money. Batman gets involved when Corinne tries to win a costume contest that he is attending. Batman investigates and clears all four employees of wrong-doing.
Later, as Bruce Wayne, Batman discovers that he was responsible for the missing money. He returns to the shop as Bruce and explains that while getting his costume for the party, Corinne handed him $100 in change instead of $1. Neither noticed the error. Bruce gives back the extra money and places his one dollar bill into his trophy case as a momento.
