TITLE: The Isle of Yesterday

PLOT:
A gang of jewel thieves robs the Gotham City Museum of Art. Batman and Robin track them to Goodwin Island. Judge Goodwin, the owner of the island, prohibits modern inventions on the island, so the Dynamic Duo are forced to turn over their utility belts. Batman suspects Diamond Dan Carson, a café owner, as the leader of the jewel thieves. When the crooks strike, the police of the island are helpless against the modern weapons of the crooks. Batman builds a tank from an old-fashioned fire engine. Using the makeshift tank, Batman is able to apprehend Diamond Dan and his gang. Following the incident, Judge Goodwin repeals his ban on modern inventions.


TITLE: Crime Spots on the Sun

PLOT:
The gang of Stoop Stover learns that recent sun spot activity will cause radio interference. When Air Wave goes on patrol, the sun spots affect his radio gadgets. He still locates Stover's gang, but the crooks escape when Air Wave's radio wave tricks malfunction. Air Wave locates them robbing a jewel exhibit. The event is held below street level, providing adequate shielding for Air Wave's equipment to work. Back to full strength, Air Wave apprehends Stover's gang.

TITLE: The Heat's On

PLOT:
Slam and Shorty visit the Fairview Health Resort, only to discover it deserted. Escaped criminal Busy Barney and his gang are using the resort as a hideout. Shorty begins using the facilities while Slam looks around. The crooks discover Shorty and lock him in a steam room. Shorty is able to summon Slam to rescue him. Then they stop the crooks from escaping.

TITLE: The Quarterback from Brooklyn

CHARACTERS: Boy Commandos; Andre Chavard; Tex; Brooklyn

PLOT:
Alfy returns to the Boy Commandos in time to watch the annual army vs. navy football game. When the game ends in a tie, the boys claim that they could have won the game. Brooklyn and Alfy then join the army, while Tex and Andre join the navy. After a year of hard work and antics, the boys are allowed to participate in the next game. The boys put their strategies to work with Andre and Tex taking an early lead. Brooklyn and Alfy strike back to tie the score. Once again the game ends in a tie. The army and navy commanders deny the boys' request to try again next year, because they don't want another year of hijinks.
