PLOT:
A showman and his son open a Batman-Dime Museum in Gotham City using fake props. Commissioner Gordon wants to shut the museum down, but Batman himself does not object.
Big Jim Jarrel has been released from prison. He has learned that a cave exists below Wayne Manor, but does not know it is the Bat-Cave. He plans to use it for a hide-out by tunneling in from nearby.
Batman learns about Jarrel's plan, so he buys the Batman Dime-Museum from the showman. He and Robin then move the contents of the Bat-Cave into the museum, replacing the fake props. Batman also tries to gain evidence to convict Jarrel.
Jarrel and his men eventually tunnel into the Bat-Cave, but Batman has emptied it. Robin and Alfred have also diverted an underground river to flood the cave, making it useless to Jarrel. Batman gets the evidence to arrest the crooks. He then restores the Bat-Cave to normal and shuts down the museum.
