INKER: Ruben Moreira

CHARACTERS: Roy Raymond; Karen Colby; Carl Cramer

PLOT:
Roy Raymond has seen it all and there really is no getting past him. That is until Karen's cousin Carl stops by with his juggling tricks that seem to defy the laws of physics. Nevertheless, Roy's wit and intelligence sees him through and he's able to debunk the man's act. He goes to retire to his office and orders Carl to be gone by the time he comes back. But when he emerges he finds that Karen has gone ahead and signed Carl for the show!

The juggler begins to make a career off of this - touting himself as the "Man who baffled Roy Raymond." Not willing to let this go, Roy shows up at Carl's big show and storms up on stage, revealing to the audience the mechanism behind Carl's trick. But at that same moment the curtain drops and it's revealed that Roy is actually the guest of honor on the "Story of Your Life" show. This entire caper was nothing more than a ruse to get him into the theater and onto the show. It seems as though Carl really has become the first person to trick the great TV detective!
