Roy and Karen are both intrigued by an inventor who claims that his camera can take photographs through walls! But when the camera receives front page attention for being able to snap a photo that catches
a thief in the act of stealing a statue, Roy Raymond decides to investigate a little more closely. He arrives at the house of the accused
thief just in time to save his life when he slips and falls during a botched escape attempt. The man claims he was framed and Roy Raymond agrees! He explains that it was actually the camera's inventor
who stole the statue! By concocting an insanely elaborate ruse involving trick boxes and paid circus people, the inventor had been able to convince everyone of his camera's faux-abilities while using a doctored photo
to frame an innocent man and throw police off of his own trail!

John Jones is assigned to investigate a museum robbery with the help of rookie policewoman Diane Meade. With Diane present, John can't use his martian powers to track down the crooks. He eventually diverts Diane, so that he can trap the crooks. He and Diane then capture them.
