PLOT:
Three criminal inventors begin a crime wave in Gotham City. The criminals commit their crimes via land, sea, and air, and wear animal heads resembling a fox, a shark, and a vulture. Batman is called in to assist, but the crooks escape using incredible machines. The Caped Crusader predicts their next crime and hides in the loot to surprise the Terrible Trio in their lair. He and Robin are then able to defeat the crooks and turn them over to the police.

PLOT:
A free newspaper is published by racketeer Harry Moran in an attempt to put Jim Wade's newspaper out of business. Wade was responsible for exposing Moran and is a friend of detective John Jones. John uses his martian powers to gain newspaper stories for Wade's paper that boost circulation.

When Moran becomes frustrated with his attempts to ruin Wade, he sends his men to destroy Wade's printing presses. John goes into action, but is momentarily weakened by fire. He manages to put out the fire with printers ink. He then apprehends the crooks with renewed strength.
