PLOT:
Batman and Robin are confronted by a new foe, the Planet-Master, who wears special costumes designed after the planets and each possessing a special power. While the crook is using his Jupiter outift, Batman knocks his helmet.

Examining the helmet once the crook has escaped, Batman traces it back to Professor Norbet, a well-known scientist. Batman questions Norbet, who checks his lab and discovers the Planet-Master’s outfits in the closet. Norbet alerts Batman that his recently fired assistant, Edward Burke, might be the crook.

While Batman questions Burke, the Planet-Master strikes again. Batman trails him back to the lab, where Burke has entered in order to steal the outfits for himself. Norbet discovers that fumes from a meteorite caused him to become a Jekyll-Hyde character as the Planet-Master. Batman stops Burke from aquiring the outfits, and helps Norbet overcome the influence of the gas.


TITLE: The Alien Bodyguard

PLOT:
After locating the hide-out of criminal, Rocky Dawson, Diane Meade is injured, giving her amnesia. The doctor suggests that she continue her duties in hopes that it will restore her memory. John Jones keeps an eye on her as the Martian Manhunter, protecting her from danger. When she strolls past Rocky’s hide-out again, the crook tries to kill her. J’onn cannot get close to them because of some nearby flames, so he drills up from underground, stopping the gunman from killing Diane. Diane’s memory eventually returns after Jones has taken Rocky into custody.

TITLE: The Mystery of Demon Island

CHARACTERS: Aquaman; Aqualad

PLOT:
After rescuing an islander from a whirlpool, Aquaman and Aqualad learn of a demon which has menaced the local people. The demon shows up and demands tribute from the islanders, so Aquaman goes to stop him.

Using a trident, the demon mysteriously prevents Aquaman from approaching. Even Aquaman’s fish friends are unable to stop the demon. Aquaman has an idea however and rides a whale to get close. Aquaman is able to knock out the demon and bring him ashore. The demon is really a crook in disguise, using an electric trident, which sent paralyzing bolts of electricity into the water when anyone approached. With the crook exposed, the islanders vow to forget their demon superstitions.
