Batman and Robin are confronted by a new foe, the Planet-Master, who wears special costumes designed after the planets and each possessing a special power. While the crook is using his Jupiter outift, Batman knocks his helmet.
Examining the helmet once the crook has escaped, Batman traces it back to Professor Norbet, a well-known scientist. Batman questions Norbet, who checks his lab and discovers the Planet-Master’s outfits in the closet. Norbet alerts Batman that his recently fired assistant, Edward Burke, might be the crook.
While Batman questions Burke, the Planet-Master strikes again. Batman trails him back to the lab, where Burke has entered in order to steal the outfits for himself. Norbet discovers that fumes from a meteorite caused him to become a Jekyll-Hyde character as the Planet-Master. Batman stops Burke from aquiring the outfits, and helps Norbet overcome the influence of the gas.
