PLOT:
When a WayneTech employee flees Gotham for Metropolis in order to sell a
prototype steroid to competitor Lex Corp, Bruce Wayne hires reformed crook turned PI Edward Nigma to hunt her down. Nigma
deduces that the woman is hiding out at the Athenian Women's Help Shelter. There he hopes to enlist Harley Quinn as an aide.
Although the former clown princess is not pleased to see Eddie at first, eventually the two former crooks sit down over coffee and Harley agrees to help. Bringing the former Catwoman Holly Robinson along for assistance, Harley confronts the WayneTech employee who quickly turns hostile.
Thanks to a dose of the steroid formula, the woman is able to hold her own against Quinn and Robinson. But when she injects herself a second time while standing within one of Athena's magical whirlpools, the combination of science and magic turns the
woman into a hideous lizard beast that they nickname Scylla. Luckily, Riddler had snuck into the shelter as a precaution and knocks the woman out cold.
When the police arrive to arrest Scylla, Athena retires to her private chambers where she hands over a vial of
Scylla's blood to Desaad so that he can isolate the WayneTech formula.
Back in Gotham, Batman reveals that the true reason for this test was to see if the reformed Riddler was trustworthy or not. Still not 100% convinced that the Riddler has turned over a new leaf, Batman reminds himself that at least
now that he has a business card and a new downtown loft, Riddler will be infinitely easier to find should he decide to regress.
