PLOT:
Needing to transfer his essence into a blood relative in order to survive, Ra's attempts to possess Damian. Batman successfully stops the
Immortal Madman and White Ghost rushes in to save his master.
Safely away from the ensuing battle between the League of Assassins and the Bat-Family, White Ghost reveals that he is in fact the son of Ra's al Ghul. Born out of necessity and shunned because of his genetic
abnormalities, White Ghost had never truly obtained his father's love. He offers to switch bodies with Ra's. Once
successfully inhabiting the body of his son, Ra's finds that the life vessel of the former monk could not sustain the transfer and White
Ghost's spirit dies.
Fully alive once more, Ra's emerges and challenges Batman to a battle to the death. Fortunately, the goddess Kushna, in charge of watching over the holy city of Nanda Parbat is enraged that the likes of Ra's al Ghul dare defile her city with his
presence. Everyone flees the trembling city for fear of invoking the wrath of
the goddess.
Back aboard the jet, Bruce is thinking of Talia and Damian (who had flown the scene before the final battle). Alfred reminds Bruce that it is in fact Christmas and the entire Bat family seems thankful that regardless of where
their true blood relations may lie - in this world or the next - they always have each other.
