PLOT:
As the neuro-toxin begins to wear off, Batman summons all of his strength and uses it to attack Hush. Seizing a weapon from one of the zombified staff swarming in to protect Elliott, Batman is able to cut through his restraints and pursue Hush as he heads off into the night. Before leaving the hospital Batman contacts Mr. Terrific and Dr. Mid-Nite and sends them the heart's location as well as all of the Bat-Computer's data on Mr. Freeze's cryogenic technology.

Bruce is able to head off Tommy just as he arrives at Wayne Manor pretending to be Bruce. Although the ruse isn't enough to fool Alfred, Tommy is able to injure the butler and deduce the location of the clock entrance to the Bat-Cave. Batman swoops in and attacks Tommy, knocking him down the stairwell leading down into the cave. Hitting the bottom, he realizes that the fall has re-opened his fresh stitches and quickly reaches for one of the Bat-Cave's many first aid stations to re-wrap his face in bandages.

Witnessing the masterpiece that is the Bat-Cave for the first time ever, Hush is nearly taken aback by Bruce's "indulgent squandering" of his parent's fortune. While the two play cat and mouse throughout the cave's archives, Tommy reveals how he came to inherit his own family fortune. As it would turn out, after learning of Tommy's relationship with Peyton Riley his mother wanted to disinherit him from her will. Hearing this Tommy became enraged. All of his years as a doting young son had gotten him nowhere and, as he had done with his father, Tommy took matters into his own hands and murdered his mother. Likewise, Peyton Riley headed after the Elliott family lawyer and bludgeoned him to death with a rock - using her family mob connections to have the murder "cleaned up."

Back in the present, Tommy Elliott is finding himself in an even more difficult predicament following the arrival of Nightwing and Robin on the scene. With the entire Bat-Family on his tail, Hush decides to try and make a run for it by firing up one of the Whirly-Bat personal helicopters. As the Whirly-Bat begins to take flight however, Hush's recently re-applied bandages begin to get tangled up in the spinning blades above his head. The engine becomes overwhelmed and the Whirly-Bat explodes leaving no trace of Tommy Elliott behind.

Thanks to the Bat-Cave's data, Dr. Mid-Nite is able to successfully transplant Selina's heart back into her chest. With Zatanna keeping her company deep within her unconscious mind during the surgery, Selina confides in the magician. She admits that she was actually on her way to profess her feelings for Bruce when she was attacked by Hush earlier. As Selina awakens after her surgery she finds Bruce by her side admitting his feelings for her as well. The two decide to give a relationship a shot but unfortunately it doesn't last longer than one passionate night.

Taking a short sabbatical to nurse her wounds, Selina is healing nicely thanks to a magic lotion from Zatanna. However she still finds herself with some unfinished business to attend to. Using her connections in both the superhero community and the criminal underground, Selina is able to track down all of Tommy Elliott's financial holdings and divert the funds to her own accounts. She then uses the money to treat herself to a nice vacation in the sun while donating the rest of the cash to charities and to help out the homeless that had been Elliott's unwitting slaves. Leaving behind a video where she knows that Hush will find it, she taunts him telling him that it would be in his best interest to get out of town.
