PLOT:
When the two villains notice young Leon Richards, the confrontation quickly turns into a stand-off and Tattooed Man is forced to let Slipknot and Cannon retreat back to their
mysterious boss, "Mr. S." in order to save his son's life. It's at that moment he knows what he must do. He has to get Leon off the streets by any means
necessary. It's not an easy choice,
but heroes don't always get to make the easy choices in life. So he tells the police officers that the reason for the drive-by that started all the commotion was because his son had murdered one of
the Ded Boyz. The police take Leon into custody where he may be safe from the street hoods he now has to contend with a very bitter Detective McAllen who wants any and all information on
Leon's dad that he can get.
Arriving home, Michelle is less than pleased that Mark sent their son to jail. Regardless of the fact that Mark knows that Leon did not in fact kill that Ded Boy personally, he still has no
concrete plan for getting Leon out of jail and that certainly displeases his wife. But what displeases her even more is the fact that yet another one of Mark's tattoos has decided to develop a mind of its own. This time
it's the whip carrying seductress Altera who just happens to have the hots for Mark. Believing that Mark was just in bed with another woman, Michelle
finally has enough and kicks him to the curb.
Michelle goes to lock-up to console her son - never knowing that her every word and action was being recorded by McAllen. She tries to comfort Leon and promise him that his father has a plan - but in the process she might have accidentally
incriminated her own husband on camera!
Having officially lost almost everything in this hero's quest, Mark Richards moves into a run down
tenement across town. There he continues his search for Cannon. What he finds is an abnormal power surge down
at the Potomac River Power Generating Facility trying to re-charge his equipment. Thanks to some choice interrogation tactics, Cannon is about to spill on Mr. S's location when suddenly someone or something takes control of
Cannon's suit and causes it to blow up the entire power facility, killing Cannon in the process. Mark
too would have been toast had it not been for Altera jumping in and saving his life at the last moment.
With the whole city now thrust into a blackout, an angry mob begins to form outside of the Richards household demanding that Mark show himself! After Leon was sent up the river, his fellow Avenue Reds decided to get
some pre-emptive revenge against the Ded Boyz by staging another drive-by on their turf. In the process another young innocent life was lost. It seems for all his heroic gestures, Mark Richards isn't helping anyone or anything in Liberty Hill.
Could he actually have somehow made it worse? How much further is he willing to push on this heroic journey?
