Nightwing arrives in Gotham City, and although he cannot tell Batman about what has happened to himself recently, he is here to help. Unfortunately, so is Taantula, a fact that is liable to lead to tensions. As Nightwing finds out from Onyx, who is being treated at Leslie's clinic, the details of recent events, Tarantula takes a section of the Latin Unifieds under her wing, calling them the Aranas, in the hope that they will be able to come through the situation safely.
