PLOT:
Robin was attacked. Floodlights temporarily blinded him, so he threw Rs at where the attackers legs should have been. When he got his vision back, Batgirl was laying dead with his darts in her neck. He found the victim to be Lynx (not Cassie), and she'd been dead for at least three hours. The police found him at the scene, but he escaped. One commented "First Nightwing, now you?"

Oracle heard the police dispatch and sent out a message to everyone. Tim made it back to his apartment (what used to be stables on Wayne Manor's estate). Alfred helped tend his wounds. He learned that Bruce and Dick had returned the previous day. Tim reminded Alfred of his own detective skills and told him he'd be taking the case.

He met Batman on a rooftop. They discussed the situation and him disappearing on Batman and Nightwing in Budapest - Tim (not Robin) had received a note that Cassie was in trouble. With her now missing, Batman's first instinct was David Cain being involved, but he was still in Blackgate. Tim told Batman he'd be taking the case (much like he'd told Alfred). As Batman left, he told Tim to ask for help if he needed it. Robin got back in costume and headed into police HQ as third shift was getting briefed.

Somewhere in Northern Africa, the car Nyssa al Ghul was entering exploded.

SUGGESTED ADDITIONAL READING:
Nightwing #118 (Nightwing's reputation is also tarnished)
