PLOT:
As Gordon's blue boys advance on the southern border of Penguin's land, Two-Face makes a gallant stride uptown with more man than any had expected. During the battle, Sarah is shot but the bullet only grazes her ribs. Meanwhile, Batgirl does her best to defend Batman's territory from the Penguin but fails.
When the dust settles, Gordon has taken over the southern border of Penguin's land at the cost of eleven lives. Foley challenges Gordon on the losses and Gordon responds by angrily
punching Foley in the mouth.
Batman is held hostage for four hours by Isabella, a Turing who prefers the name "Echo" and possesses an implant which grants her the ability to read her opponent's thoughts. Despite everything she knows, Isabella vows never to tell Batman's secrets to Two-Face and leaves him to his own devices. When he recovers from the drugs used to keep him hostage, Batman frees himself.
He returns to his territory to find that in his
absence, Two-Face has claimed all that was once his after double-crossing the Penguin.
