SOLICITATION:
The mysterious girl trapped inside the Kryptonite meteor that fell to Earth is taken to the Fortress of Solitude, where Superman and Batman try to teach her to fit into our society. But on Apokolips, someone else has plans for her, as do the Amazons!

ISSUE SUMMARY:
Kara Zor-El is living in Superman's Fortress of Solitude, where both Superman and Batman try to find out more about her. Meanwhile, Darkesid instructs Granny Goodness to capture this girl and bring her to Apokolips as a potential Female Fury. Batman does not trust Kara, thinking that her existence and lapses of memory are entirely too convenient, designed to play on both his and Superman's emotional weak spots. Superman, however, trusts the young Kryptonian and takes her under his wing, eventually showing her the sights of Metropolis. Here, they come under attack, and to Superman's surprise, his attackers are from Themyscira, including his close friend Wonder Woman. They plan to take Kara to their island and will not allow Superman to stand in their way.
