PLOT:
Thanks to her infra-red goggles, Helena is able to out maneuver her assailants in the dark and take them all out, saving the young girl tied to a chair in the middle of the room. Looking around the room she recognizes the men - a wealthy playboy, a prominent banker, the prime minister, a priest and Stefano Mandragora himself - the boss of bosses. These men comprise the A Mano Iddio (the Hand of God), which acts as secret sect of sorts, the heads of every major part of life controlling everything as they see fit. They had been dividing what amounts to three billion Euros of the Bertinelli fortune spread out inside of safety deposit lock boxes - the keys to which were placed on a necklace around the neck of the would-be sacrificial lamb. Helena grants the woman her freedom and even gives her one of the lock box keys in order to help her get out of Italy as she passes along the sage advice given to her so long ago, "you must outlive them - every man in that room."

Returning home from his beating, Mandragora is so incensed that he beats his wife to death. He and the Pope decide it must have been whoever was responsible for Nino Angelo's beating earlier. With the Bertinelli fortune gone he decides that a mistake was made long ago - Helena Bertinelli must be wiped out. In order to do so he and invites Helena to a gala at his compound, afterwards his goons will have her whacked.

Helena receives the invitation as well as a complimentary dress fitting from Mandragora. The dress maker himself doesn't interest Helena so much as his other projects do. The designer making Helena's dress is also in charge of crafting the military outfits for Italy's army. She asks the genial designer for a special project requiring military fabric and gear.

Helena also receives two other things in the mail. A letter from Tony asking her to save him from an unloving arranged marriage (which she ignores) and a cryptic letter leading her to believe that her surrogate brother Sal is alive! She races to the location in the letter, a church and finds that Sal is indeed alive. He had survived the prison fight thanks in part to a nun named Christina who had won his heart and helped him escape. Even though Christina will no longer speak to him, he decided to dedicate his life to her cause and become a priest. Helena tells Sal about what she had done, stealing her money back from the Hand. Sal says he understands her drive and confesses to knowing who ordered the hit on her family - Mandragora, the leader of the Hand. That night she dons the Huntress outfit for the first time and sneaks into Mandragora's study, preparing to kill the man responsible for all of her pain!
