PLOT:
Holman Hunt was left permanently scarred along the left side of his face after being left for dead in a puddle of gasoline by an arsonist. His life may have been saved by Batman but his sanity was saved by his wife who stuck by his side and helped his self-esteem recover. Holman decides to spread his message of hope to the similarly scarred Arkham inmate Two-Face. Unfortunately, Two-Face decides to show the man that there are always two ways of looking at a situation. If it's so easy for Two-Face to become a so-called 'good' person, then it must be equally as easy for a 'good' person such as Holman to turn 'evil.' Right?

After making his escape from Arkham a few weeks later, Two-Face kidnaps Holman and his wife Dana, forcing the two to take part in his twisted morality game. Holman awakes to find that his wife is being held below a container of sulfuric acid. Nearby, held in restraints as well is none other than Holman's hero the Batman. All Holman has to do to ensure that his wife is not horribly disfigured is to take a nearby revolver and kill the Batman. To prove exactly how serious the matter at hand is, Two-Face allows a single drop of acid to fall and roll down Dana's cheek leaving a seared tear-drop mark in its wake.

When Holman decides to make the obvious decision to turn the revolver on Two-Face, he finds that the gun was never loaded and the Batman being held in restraints was actually Two-Face's henchman in disguise. As punishment Two-Face prepares to murder both Holman and his wife for choosing the supposed "moral" course of action. Thankfully Holman's life is once more saved by The Batman who arrives just in time to stop the mad man.

Even though Batman managed to save their lives, it would seem as though the ordeal has left emotional scars on both Dana and Holman. Dana finds herself left with a permanent reminder that Holman was unable to choose to put his own morality aside in order to save her life and Holman moves out. Holman finds himself miserable and alone and ends his life.

... or did he?

Perhaps Holman decided to pick up the phone instead and make up with his love. Who knows? Does it matter? Flip a coin and choose for yourself.
