PLOT:
The JLA are going through all the evidence they have collected about the brands on Superman and Wonder Woman and the artifacts stolen. The Trinity's personalities are continuing to influence each other. Batman makes the connection that the Howlers that attacked them are from the Carpathians and the Eternity Book that talks about their brandings belonged to Merlin - who is supposed to be resting at Castle Branek in the Carpathians. Also the gargoyle that attacked Riddler was from Castle Branek.

Morgaine, Enigma and Despero have begun the spell to eliminate the Trinity and make themselves the rulers of the universe, operating out of Castle Branek. They are interrupted by the Trinity themselves and a battle ensues. Other members of the JLA along with the Titans, Outsiders and JSA are with them to deal with the Howlers and other demons.

TITLE: A Bit of Overkill

PLOT:
Gangbuster's priority is to get into the castle to find his friend Rita, a.k.a Tarot. He is aided by Hawkman who has brought some magical weapons to help. Inside they are met by a three-headed monster they must get by.
