PLOT:
Krona has escaped from the cosmic egg and has left to explore the universe.
With the success of Morgaine's spell the world has changed. Gone are Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. Lois Lane is now a hard-nosed reporter hosting a TV news show. Heroes have banded together as the Justice Society International and are trying to safeguard the world. Green Lanterns aren't allowed on Earth. Many of the heroes have changed appearances or roles.

PLOT:
One ordinary person in Gotham, Charlie Melvin, is having remembrances of different heroes that don't exist - the Trinity - but doesn't know where these visions are coming from. Green Arrow and Speedy are now the protectors of Gotham with Ragman and his sidekick Tatters working in the shadows at night. Charlie keeps having flashbacks to Batman and Robin protecting Gotham.
