Back at JSI HQ they have captured the Flash, suspecting his Justice League of being involved in Europe's problems. Jose, aka Gangbuster, is let in to deliver the scroll to Carter Hall given to him by Alfred Pennyworth. Carter, Jay Garrick and Alan Scott go into a private room to read the scroll and a flash of light comes from the room. Carter exits the room having the appearance of his ancestor, Khufu, before reverting back to Carter Hall. The three of them all appear younger with more energy. The scroll has told them that Firestorm is telling the truth and the world is not as it should be.
