Makkorthians stumbled across Earth and, seeing how close it was to a peaceful worldwide union, wanted to stir up trouble by using the plane to stage a global terrorist attack. Hawkman and the Makkorthite do battle when suddenly a blast from the
giant bug-beast blows a hole in the plane cabin wall. Plummeting back towards Earth, Hawkman hopes to wait until the Makkorthian expends it's
reservoir of energy and strike before it can recharge. But that's if he can
avoid smashing to the pavement below!
