As long as he isn't written the way Beast Boy was, then people shouldn't get confused.
I think the show has potential to be a younger wackier JLU, let's just hope the writers see this potential.

From Comics Continuum:
Legion of Super Heroes will kick off with "Man of Tomorrow" on Sept. 23, which shows how Superman became part of the team, followed by "Timber Wolf" on Sept. 30, which introduces that character.
So the first two episodes are introduction episodes: LOSH Superman & Timber Wolf.

I woke up rather early last weekend, and saw a preview for LOSH on Kids WB, the animation looks solid but so far nothign too spectacular (not fluid like The Batman, or overly styalized like Teen Titans)
They only showed a few of the main group going to Clark and wanting him to join them.

This is what the first two epsiodes are about:
Legion of Super Heroes -- "Man of Tomorrow," Sept. 23:
"When fearsome villains The Fatal Five set their sights on the newly formed Legion of Super Heroes, three of its members go back in time to get help from the greatest hero of all time: Superman. Instead however they find only Clark Kent, aware of his powers but not yet his grand destiny.
Legion of Super Heroes -- "Timber Wolf," Sept. 30:
A mysterious scientist asks the Legion to help capture a dangerous creature. They succeed, only to discover the creature is nowhere near as dangerous as the scientist himself.

My personal feelings? I don't know what to say.
I don't seem to have personal feelings regarding the art on LOSH. Since this is the third DC show with the anime influence in their animation, I think it was obivious that it was going to be like that.
It was almost like when I saw the first image of the show, it was "okay, here is it". Nothing more nor less.
However, since the animation adds some "JLU elements" in it, I think that shows us that this show will have a feeling of Justice League in it. Rather than a another Teen Titans-show like some people thought it was.
BTW, since this is the official thread on the show, expect my reviews of the episodes here.

Here is screenshots of this week's episode "Phantoms", the episode where Superman opens a phantom dimension and releases someone with identical powers as him.

If you know the Legion of Super-Heroes via comic books, you might be thinking of Mon-El/Valor as the guy who is released. But with the "Z" on his chest, I think we should hold back until the episode airs.
In other news, its been revealed that a second season is "a good possibility". And if it does happen, there might be a chance Darkseid will appear.
