Yeah pretty much anyone who grew up in the 90's would know Poison Ivy 1. Because she was in the theaters at that time also (Batman & Robin) 2. She was in the two Batman cartoon series that came on then.
I read the news about Nolan bringing the batman films to a close with the new batman movie... How do you bring a Batman series to a close without death... Cause to me Batman stepping down isn't an end that only means one thing thats too much for GCPD will bring him back because Batman cannot watch his city suffer

(WAY OFF TOPIC................... I KNOW LOL)
You're looking at it way to literally.
Just because he's looking at in as an end to the story of his films doesn't mean he intends it to be the end of Batman. Begins and TDK both ended on a point that raised the stakes for the next film. Begins with the themes of escalation and TDK with Batman's sacrifice.
Now with the third film, instead of him raising the stakes with a hook at the end of the film, I believe Nolan intends to finish the third film at a point where the audience would have a feeling of resolution at the end of the film.
My prediction; at the end of the movie Batman will be accepted as a saviour, organized crime will be practically abolished from Gotham, at least one major non-corrupt public official will be in office, and whatever major villain is wreaking havoc has been defeated.
See how that ending would be different from the others?
Never start with the head; the victim gets all fuzzy!
Ok I see what you're saying... I was taking from the stance of "they'll be no sequel, so we must end Batman"
I would definitely like it if he did that... Maybe it was just me but Spiderman was only supposed to be a trilogy... But at the end of spiderman I really felt there were still many problem and side plots to be solved.
