Would you like to relive the 1989 and see Batman '89, then go on and expereicne BR, BF and end at B&R all over again?
You don't get it, boy... this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table.

not really...after B&R(which i actually liked..i was a kid, what did i know?), there were so many rumors of another batman movie. it was driving me crazy, it got me wanting more or batman. and it never came out!!!! until june of this year. which was like an 8 year long wait. yeah..thats more than half of my life.

I remember.. I never even wanted to see B89. I hate to be honest, but I have to be. Then I want to see it and WOW.. I saw it like 5 or 6 times and so yea, I'd like to relive it.. only this time get in on the first showing.

in a heartbeat.
so many ask "how was it in 89?", but truth be told, you would have to experience it. i was already a big Batman fan, so this was a huge event for me. i remember getting the latest issue of Comic Scene magazine just dying to read the latest update. the summer of 89 was truly amazing. it has not been matched since by any movie. Returns wasnt as big, but it was prominant, and Forever was almost like 89.

Becasue it would be kinda weird. The Rise and Fall. And compare the first film and sequels with BB and whats to come

I would absolutely love to relive B89. Back then, there was no internet or intense fan scrutinizing of every tiny little detail of the movie. Back then, it absolutely blew you away because it was the absolute first time you saw it. I didn't see B89 until I was five and I was too young to understand the experience. When I saw Batman Begins I was blown away, yeah, but not as much as I would have been if I hadn't seen the trailer, the production photos, the teaser trailer, the fan reactions, excerpts from the script, a brief preview of the adaptation etc.
Another reason I would like to relive B89 is because of the reaction worldwide. None of the other bat-films had that reaction and let's face it, neither did Batman Begins. I didn't see anyone tattooing the bat logo to the backs of their heads, or small shops that only sold Batman stuff when Batman Begins came out, regardless of how superior it was.
In the shadows I saw my destiny...

Very true. Almost makes me want to stay away from most of the info and hype about the next film and enter the theatre cold.
I was just thinking about this yesterday, how much I would love to have been about five years older than I was at that time. I think my memory goes back to just getting Batman on VHS and constantly watching it all day before starting kindergarden. It was around '90 when The Dark Knight Collection was coming out and Toybiz figures and other Batman merchandise was still all over.
I have no memory of Batman actually being in theatres, so I'd love to experience that as it really was. At first I didn't know there was a comic book or that the character spanned 50 years. To me, that VHS was Batman and I have no memory of not being, or my first becoming a Batman fan really.

I'd love to, for one very important reason:
I never saw it in the theatre. I begged for months, but my parents never too me to see it. They went and saw it, but I couldn't go. I don't remember why, although I'm sure they had a good reason. After all, they aren't cruel people. In any case, this remains the one Batman movie that I have never seen in a theatre.
This actually gave me a rather unique view of the movie, however. Having never seen it, my idea of the film was based on an amalgamation of the media coverage and word-of-mouth, so I was surprised by many things when I finally got to see it. We rented the VHS as soon as it was released. My parents said it cost to much to buy it for me, but they rented it for me so many times that it would have been cheaper in the long run. (Remember, this was back when VHS tapes normally sold in the $20-40 range.)
I still remember all the hype surrounding the movie, and it did indeed surpass that of "Begins." It was even greater an event than the recent Star Wars prequels, with the possible exception of Episode I. That's due in large part to all the ways the world has changed since then. It would be great to experience it all again.
