Boy, some of those actually look really cool. Superwoman and Batwoman are excellent. I still have to read those issues though. I stopped reading around issue #20, but I regularly buy the title. It looks like they've improved the designs by extending the length of the arms for the new figures (compare Batman Beyond with Kryptonite Batman).

sweet johnny christ...

having only read public enemies I have to ask the greatest question ever...
When did McGuiness do McGinnis?

My McGuiness Batman is one of my favourite collection pieces, and having Batzarro, Terry and Kryptonite Batman coming out in that style will no-doubt make my pockets considerably emptier that month. Is the Batwoman the new Kathy Kane, or is it (dunno why but it looks that way to me) An alternate Bruce Wayne? which if it is, I'll have to get that too lol.

This set is from With a Vengenace. The storyline, which I did review and is in either the Batman, Superman or DCU comics section, is about Superman & Batman being put into alternate realities and coming into contact with many differetn versions of themselves.

Terry McGinnis/Batman appeared in the arc. The original comics made a mistake of calling that Batman "Tim", the TPB fixes that. That Batwoman isn't the new one that appeared in 52 #11. Thats from an alternate universe where women are the dominant role than men and thats a female version of Batman, with Superwoman a female version of Superman.

I think it's great that Batman Beyond is becoming more widely accepted in the DCU. I love the show and still think they should make a Justice League Beyond cartoon

Meh. I think Batman Beyond's costume is too boring. He needs a cape. If he was more like the 'Justice Lord' Batman in JLU, then he'd be cooler.

Those 'Superman: Man of Steel' toys look like they might have potential, even if they are mainly just shoddy repaints. Metallo looks sort of okay. Without the big Kryptonite shoulders, Lex looks cool as well.

Kryptonite Batman just looks plain stoopid. The proportions are all wrong and his thighs are too big.

I'm pretty sure it's just a repaint of the original Batman figure from Series 1. And yeah, the proportions are goofy compared to the newer, improved figures. I can't help but like the figure because he reminds me of Kenner's glow-in-the-dark Robocop from 1990 and any other figures from that time when glow-in-the-dark was popular. :p

Okay, I need a comic fix real soon, all these characters confuse me.

Female Batman and Superman? I didn't know Bizzaro Batman existed until two months ago, and why's Bizzaro wearing a rock? Batman Beyond in comic books? and how did Batman make a suit out of Kryptonite, or even put one on? That was one weird comic story.

The Kryptonite Batman reminds me of a Batman & Robin(97) Poison Ivy I had. Yes the movie sucked, but I didn't have a Poison Ivy in my collection, and this one had a cool transparant green part.

Yep, I used have a cool glow in the dark Alien VS. Predator action figure, it was a Predator with spear gun, glow in the dark spears and a glow in the dark costume and mask. It also had what apeared to be a Chestburser Alien on it, but it looked more like it was ingraved on the chest than actualy poping out of it.

Of course the downside of having a glow in the dark monster action figure when your a kid; trying to get to sleep at night while it's close to your bed! But I'm sure I had my Blue Batman Returns Batman beat it up for revenge on a few occasions.

Female Batman and Superman?

They appear in an alternate universe where women are the dominant sex instead of men. So everybody is the same except for reverse gender: there's also Superlad (male Supergirl), and a Darkseid known as the "Dark Queen".

why's Bizzaro wearing a rock?

Its been like that since his first appearence in Action Comics #264 (May 1960). He wears that in order to distinguish himself from the other failed Superman clones on Htrae, where everyone looked like an ugly Superman or an ugly Lois Lane.

Batman Beyond in comic books?

That was another alternate universe which Bizarro went into. That Batman Beyond is the same from the show.

how did Batman make a suit out of Kryptonite, or even put one on?

Its not a suit. I can't remember the details but in Part 1 of the story, there is a guy who got pure evil by Kryptonite that was energy placed into him. Batman and Superman got it away from inside him and later in the story, the Maxiumums unlocked the case with the energy Kryptonite and Batman got exposed by it turning him into that.

Thanks Nate, but I already understood most of that, I was just commenting on how weird it is to someone who hasn't read the story.

I'm suprised I never noticed that before.

You might not have noticed Bizarro's "Bizarro #1" sign because it is not always there. There are quite a few modern appearances where he doesn't have it. I think that it came back when Jeph Loeb started writing Superman since he brought in so many Silver Age concepts (Krypto, Supergirl, etc) but he actually made them cool. I believe that since the sign was shattered in Infinite Crisis #1 we won't be seeing it again for a while. Hard to say since Bizarro hasn't not made a Post-Infinite Crisis appearance.
