Here's your chance to interact with Mattel and trey to find out some answers to the many questions I know you have.

We are going to try and do this as a monthly basis, but to be truthful, I'm not sure if it will stay that way.

I'll give you all a week or so to post your questions. Please read through the posts before you ask because someone else might have already asked the question you want to know.

Are there plans for the DC Superheroes series to expand into the rest of the DC universe and create figures for characters such as Flash, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, etc? And will they be releasing new versions of Nightwing or Joker?

1. The guys at Four Horsemen ignored this one; but would you consider making a broad shouldered Joker, like Ross and Millers's interpretations, for DC superheroes?

2. Would you consider making the Batman DC Superheroes lines high-articulation only, like the Superman line?

3. I heard that a black & grey Batman, similar to the new 12'' Toys 'R' Us exclusive, will be release in the 6" series with Clayface and Man-bat; but I can't find any official anouncements... Care to confirm or deny?

4. In future releases of the current Batman sculpt, are you going to fix the issue that he cant hold most of the batarangs thet come with him?

I'm pretty sure they aren't contracted to make those other DC characters outside of Batman and Superman. As for a new Nightwing, check out the Horsemen's answers to our questions from earlier this year. Chris just got them up today...

Yea.. We can still ask this question, but, I can kinda give you an answer now. They want to do all of the DCU, BUT can't yet. It gets very expenives to get the rights, plus, DC wanted see how Mattel would handle Batman/Superman.

But, we'll still ask em, maybe I'm missing something..

1). Will you use the Bruce Wayne head from SDCC and Overseas figures on the Clark Kent body from the Target Two Pack to make a Bruce Wayne in a suit, perhaps in another Target Two Pack with Batman?

2). The Bat Signal Batman body was reused for the first DCSH Batman. Will Attack Armor Batman get reused in a later version of a DCSH Batman?

3). Alfred Pennyworth and Commissioner Gordon, any chance we’ll see either of these figures in DCSH?

4). Any plans for a new, redesigned (not reissued) Batmobile for DCSH figures?

5). Any plans for a new Batcave for DCSH figures?

6). I know the license is limited to Batman and Superman, could it be expanded to Batman Beyond if so could a Batman Beyond wave of figures be in the future.

7). Any new Batman figures with the yellow oval on the chest, or are you restricted to retro bat logos?

8). What figure/character NOT done before by Kenner, Hasbro or DC Direct would you most like to do?

-This line has been plagued by poor distribution and irregular releases schedules, with many stores going months without a recieving a single case of the DCSH figures. Is anything being done to address these problems?

-How much time remains in the license agreement, and approximately how many more waves of figures are planned?

-Will we ever see a re-release of Azrael, who was virtually impossible to find at retail? To date, he seems to be the figure who has proven most difficult to find.

-The Cyborg Superman is shown on the side of the most recent Superman wave released a couple of months back, but is still missing in action. any word on when we can expect him to show up in a case assortment?

-Speaking of the Cyborg, what are the odds of seeing the Eradicator version of Superman from that same storyline?

-I ask this knowing full well it almost certainly can't be answered: Will we ever get a Ra's al Ghul figure in this line? The only comic-style figure released to date was a disappointment, and this line needs to have this classic villain represented with that unbeatable Four Horsemen touch.

That's all I've got right now.

9). How much longer will The Batman series of figures continue? Will they stop when the show ends or continue for a year or two?

10). Any plans on a scale sized Bat-Bot that would allow kids to put the regular sized The Batman figures in it like the TV show?

11). With The Batman introduction of Martian Manhunter and the Justice League will we see JL figures from the show on The Batman Card Backs?

12). How far along in the process is Mattel on the Dark Knight figures, when will we get our first look?

13). Will The Dark Knight figures be all new tooling or will they reuse many of the Batman Begins figures?

14). Repaints of Mattel’s Animated style TNBA figures kept showing up at Kay Bee, will these continue or has it finished?

15). Who decides what figures The Four Horsemen get to sculpt and what figures Mattel gets to do?

16). Without telling which characters, about how many more The Four Horsemen figures are planned?

(1.) Anything about Justice League Unlimited you can tell us about for 2008?

(2.) Any info on those Leagon Of Superheroes(Based on the current cartoon series), such as the scale and what not?

(3.) 2008 will see the relase of The Dark Knight, and while I'm assuming we'll see some Hot Wheels toys based on the Batmobile/Tumbler, the Bat Pod, and maybe some other vehicles in various scales, is there any vehicles, mulit packs and/or playsets outside of The Dark Knight that's related to Batman(Such as The Batman, 1960's TV Batman, past movies, maybe comic books, etc) that we can possibly also expect from Hot Wheels in 2008? Like say maybe info about other Batmobiles coming out in 2008, the rumor I heard a short while ago that Hot Wheels is thinking about releasing some Batmobile toys in their own scale, etc.

(4.) Will the Barabra Gordan Batgil(The 1 from the Target Exclusive 2 pack) be released as a single? And will she be the same colour(Grey suit with blue cape and cowl and yellow gloves), or be released in different colours(Like say black with yellow gloves and boots, all purple similar to the 1960's show, grey with blue cape and cowl along with blue boots and gloves, etc).

All I can think of for now.

17). Why do the 1:64 scale Hot Wheels 1966 Batmobile have two different variants with “Mesh” and “No Mesh” grilles?

18). When can we expect to see the larger scale versions of the 1966 Batmobile on the shelves?

19). Besides 1:18, what other sizes are planned for the 1966 Batmobile? Could we see a 1:43 version to compare with the Corgi’s?

20). Are any other 1966 Bat vehicles like the Bat Copter and Bat Boat available for Mattel to produce?

21). With DC Super Friends coming soon, are there plans for smaller “Super Hero Squad” and “Galactic Heroes” style figures to capture even more of the young kids market?

OK Chris, when will we see some answers?

22). Are they any plans for more DC Superheroes in the Barbie line. Batgirl, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Catwoman and Poison Ivy have been done, are there plans for Huntress, Power Girl, Harley Quinn or others?

23). Most figures have peg holes in their feet for use with stands. Why most of the DCSH line not have these holes?

24). Has Mattel considered a 9” MEGO style (cloth costumes) style Batman/Superman figures like the current “Spider-man Origins” or the “DC Super Heroes” Hasbro did for Target a few years ago?

Are there any plans for mainline 1966 Batmobile repaints, such as a 1970s "batfuzz" version?

I'd like to expand this question to ask about a possible 1/24 as well, to go with the previous Corgi, Johnny Lightning, Danbury Mint, and model kit Batmobiles.

Sorry, BTASfan... It's not going to happen... TNBA is way too old a program to get one new action figure set, let alone a new action figure series with almost every character in it.

Plus this thread is dedicated to asking questions directly to mattel, and as the questions have already been sent let's try to with hold posting til Chris posts the answers.
