Well, for action figures, lines, and products(Minimates, statues, busts, etc) I guess it depends on which styles and verisons of Batman you like, let alone the toys as well. 1 thing I would defently recommend is any or all of the Hot Wheels Batmobile toys coming out in 2007 based on the 1960's TV series. There will be 2 versions of the 1:64th scale(Very small scale), with the 1st version coming out very soon as part of the regular line(Preview photos have been posted on Action Figure Insider, and it will cost around $1.00. Don't post any of the pictures from Action Figure Insider anywhere without permission) and a 2nd verison coming out sometime in September with more detail added to it(It might be part of 1 of those special edition verisons with some fancy style packaing that usually cost around $5.00, or even in a special 2 pack or something. Or it could just be another verison that will be part of the $1.00 line. Unknown at this time). The 1st verison that's coming out is very good looking, however I should note that the front is missing the red/orange lines, but still cool. I'm assuming the 2nd version will have those lines, but I'm not 100% sure.
This Batmobile will also be released as as part of the 1:18 and 1:43 scales(Bigger size), and there will also be some sort of Ultra version from 1 of these 2 scales which will be very detailed, and all of these should be out in Fall 2007. Just about any Batman fan would have to consider this as part of their collection, espeically those who were fans of the 1960's T.V. series. It been a really long time since an actual Batmobile toy based officially on the 1960's T.V. series has come out( I think it was around the 1970's) due to linsensing issues. Any other 1960's Batmobile toys were based on the comics which while did look similiar to the T.V. show, were not 100% accurate. There have also been some fan made/modifiy versions of this car, however be perpared to pay a huge amount for those. Here's the link to Action Figure Insider on the feature on the 1st version of the 1:64 scale 1960's Batmobile:

And here's a link to Johnny's Resin Kits based on the 1960's T.V. series that may or may not interest you:

In response to your " ", you don't have to get it unless you want to. I was just offering my suggestion, especially when you consider how popluar the 1960's T.V. Batmobile is. A lot of Bat fans are going to be going after any or all of these Hot Wheels 1960's Batmobiles, and I thought maybe you'll be interested. |

Don't forget, A_Spidey_fan, we have a whole thread about the upcoming '66 Batmobiles here. You're right, it's definitely going to be one of the hot movers this year.
The last officially licensed replica was probably the Corgi 267, which was made through at least part of 1983. There have been several unofficial models released since then, though; in addition to the one you mentioned from Johnny's Resin (which is the same kit as the one available through http://www.sidkit.com), there have been kits made by Lunar, T&T, Phantom Creations, Rebellion Creations, Mad Dog Models, and Jimmy Flintstone; all in varying degrees of quality and accuracy. There were also a couple of very nice (and very pricey) cars done by GADM, one in 1/43 and later on another in 1/25 scale.
This is my 1/25 '66, built by using parts from several kits:

i was always wondering why you guys are crazy about the batmobile and why you guys would pick it over a action fig.
After MArcus sharing his passion for the Batmobile and you guys showing off your great toys, i had to join the club.

I know I'm really really late for this party but my favorite Batman figure has to be...
Combat Belt Batman.
it was the first 5 inch Batman figure to have a working utility belt and accessories that closely matched the shows design vintage with a modern twist also the weapons were one's that Batman uses every day
The figure itself is just awesome I know some people hated the blue plastic used for the figure and well I admit it bothered me when I was a kid so I custom made one with grey paint and well with the black mask, boots, gloves, and paint it looked bad real bad there was no color to him he looked drab, very dull, unappealing so I come to admire the light blue, it's what makes the figure stand out.
A launching grappling hook: this thing really works press a button and the hook springs from the base and you place it on any surface and let Bat's swing about. The hook was made of strong plastic that he could hang and swing without worrying the hook would collapse under the figures weight.
Bat cuffs that could be used to bring the joker and other criminals to justice.
Batarang missile (okay maybe he never used batarang missiles but hey it was a cool addition) launch it at the enemy and watch him topple down, oh what fun.
All of this crime fighting gear attached to the seperate belt. All in all a great figure forget Mattel Zipline Batman and Alex Ross Batman or any Batman from DC Direct this is the ulitimate Batman and I dare you to think different this is the greatest Batman figure of all.
5 inch anyway because I know I'll get chewed out by not naming Mego Batman the best, but I grew up in the ninties and this was the defining Batman figure I had some fond memories playing in the backyard with my Batman toys and hanging my Batman from a tree using his grappling hook. Ahh the memories. |

I would have to agree with some of the previous posts'; and that is that whatever Batman toy is most special to you, then that's the greatest.
Personally, my favorite of my collection would probably be the Batman from Hush series 1. I guess because I just love Jim Lee's incarnation of Batman so much. A long time ago it used to be "Detective Batman" (TNBA original Batman), but I guess I change over the years. |

I've always loved this little guy:

It was the first Batman figure I ever remember having (although this one is the "Keaton" face one, and I had the round jaw variant, LOL. Gotta love his belt/bat-rope.
We've got any figure photos you'd need right here in our Action Figures & Dolls archive. CLICK HERE to see the other head sculpt variations. - Editor
