And seeing as we're moving off topic;

I never thought the MOTU cartoon measured up to the early comics, but it's good-natured, goofy fun. Definitely worth at least a rental.
Quite right, I watched it today - I wasn't overly thrilled. Worth a rental for a disc or two, but that's probably about it. I don't think you'd go back to it and watch over & over..........
Back on topic - I've just ordered 100 of the stands you linked to the "how to make figures stand" thread Caleson, I've decided I'm going to get all mine out. You might wanna mail them for a cut..........

I know this thread is getting off topic, but actually, I think this was the poster he had:
For more info and photos, here's the auction:
Two 1984 He-Man MOTU posters; A Must Have!
I thought it ended around $60 or $80, but I'm not sure. I guess the closing bid of this one will prove how true that is. Then again, that auction was around the 2002-2003 revival.
It's cool that not only are they beautiful paintings, but some also feature the characters in their variation Battle-Damaged and Dragon Blast armor.
that's one of my favorites. I loved the battle armor figures then, and I love 'em now. That "battle damage" feature has gotta be one of the most brillaint features ever devised for an action figure! Whoever came up with that one is a genius.

Whoever it was, they really ran with the idea. Around the same time as the Battle Armor figures were hitting shelves, Hot Wheels cars were introducing the "Crack Ups"

HA, I remember those! I had forgotten those existed until I saw that picture. I think I had a couple of those, or maybe they belonged to one of my friends. Either way, I remember playing with them.

I've got a few duplicates so that I can keep one in the box and put one out - but I've stopped doing that on grounds of cost...... |

Dive Claw Robin from the Legends of the Dark Knight series came in two versions. Brown Hair, No Insignia is the version I have, but a Black Hair with the ?R? insignia on the chest was also available. It?s not really a variant, but rather a running change made later in production of the figure

I should still have one or two of them in my bin of old Hotwheels and Ertl tractors. Can't believe I never made a connection between those two products, much less the fact that they're both from Mattel. Thanks for mentioning that.

No problem. Being the toy car nut that I am, Hot Wheels always ranked near the top of my favorite toys as a kid.

BAB you remind me of myself when it comes to collecting. When I was big into 1/64 race cars I'd buy one to hang on my wall and another to race on the carpet...good times.
