I've literally not seen these since I was a child - the DVD shouldnt be too long now, I'm so looking forward to it. I do however wonder if it's one of those things that might've been better kept as a fond memory. Ask me in about a month!
I've never seen (or at least certainly don't recall) Filmation's Superman. I've got (although never really watched) their Flash Gordon box, and I'd like to see Defenders of the Earth.
I've recently been watching their animated Star Trek too. I had it as a rental and enjoyed it. |

I'll do a review of the DVD sets soon.. I enjoyed the eps, but it's not something I'll watch all the time. Like with the serials, it's nice to have, but it's nothing something that I'll watch like I do with Begins.

I find I go thru phases where I'm totally into something, and then I won't watch for a while. The only Batman DVDs that I don't watch fairly regularly - mainly because I've not actually got them!  - are the Black and Whites from the 40s.
I guess you're right, I return to Begins a lot - and it's good that Timm/Dini have left us with (a quick mental count makes) 13 boxsets of pure genius (albeit not all, or all just) Batman. |

The Animated Section has been updated! Justice League is finished, and I through the Legion Of Superheroes section together.
Up next, Batman Beyond...
