I went to Zellers today(Wednesday, May, 30, 2007) and saw that they also have those 3 DC Comics Hot Wheels theme sets that I've mentioned as well, and they also cost $5.99 Canadian. |

Hollywood Diecast has now posted package pictures of at least those 1:64 scale The Batman Hot Wheels small sets that come with a EXP Batmobile, a little figurine, and some sort of small trap playset, which costs around $5.99 Canadian. No pictures of the Superman 1 though. Here are the links:

As well, Hollywood Diecast has posted pictures of the 1:64 scale The Batman Arkham Asylaum Escape playset that I also mentioned in this message thread sometime ago(It was the 1 where I felt that the car that came with it for some strange reason keep reminding me of the Custom Coupe cars from both Batman Returns and Batman: TAS toylines, which both came with a Wayne figure. Even though I don't think it looks like the Custom Coupe toy, it still for some reason sort of reminds me of it. Must me my mind trying to give an excuse or something for the reason of the car they chosen, or trying to see something there that isn't). The car/Batmoible I think is a concept car coloured in black and has a The Batman logo. Anyways, here's the link to see a package picture of it:

And here's a link to the main Hollywood Diecast website, where if you go to the report "6/13/07 - Yet Another Batmobile", you will see the article as to where I got the pictures, as well as a picture of the 1:64 scale 1960's T.V. Batmobile with the car/Batmobile from the Arkham Aslyum Escape playset:

A short while ago, Hollywood Diecast mentioned that the 1:64 scale 1960's T.V. Batmobile has now been released as part of a Hot Wheels 10 pack with some other Hot Wheels vehicles. No clue if it's 1 or both verisons(Smooth Grill and the Honeycomb pattern grill) are going to be released in this pack, let alone which 1 is in the picture. Here are the links, with the 1st 2 to pictures of it, and the 3rd to the main Hollywood Diecast site. For the 3rd link, look for the title "7/11/07 - Today's Finds":

I've also had the 10-pack as part of the list of packaging variants here.
People have claimed that both variants are available in the 10-pack, but there's only been visual proof of the textured grille version so far. It's very tricky because the car is harder to see in the 10-pack than it is on the regular blister, and extra-thick paint has led to erroneous "smooth" sightings several times.

Spencer did you delete my post? I did not see your site with the information and I did not recall seeing it posted on BYTB. Yes, all that I've seen in the 10 Packs were the "Mesh Grill" versions.

The post was that I had seen the TV Batmobile in 10 Packs and for people who did not use eBay they still had a shot of getting them at retail. That's what I thought you were replying too when you mentioned the information on your site. I thought I put my post in this Thread, but maybe it did not stick or something. No biggie

Ah, gotcha. That post was here. in the "I finally found..." thread.
My response was to A_Spidey_Fan's post. If I was a little quicker on the uptake, I would've realized that it was in the wrong thread and moved it over to the '66 News thread, and responded to it there.

Just wanted to state that I was at the Hot Wheels Collectors website, and they posted a list of pretty much all the basic Mainline 2008 Hot Wheels cars for the 1:64 scale that are going to be release as singles(2008 First Editions, Treasure Hunts, Track Stars, All Stars, Mystery, etc). For those who are wondering if there will be any Batmobiles being release or re-released for the 1:64 Mainline for 2008, it appears that the list doesn't mention any Batmoibles. Here's the link to see the list yourself:
That said, there could still be a chance that some Batmobiles in the 1:64 scale being release/re-released in various multi-packs(2 packs, 3 packs, 5 packs, gift sets, 10 packs, etc.), in Hot Wheels playsets, some Hot Wheels Vehicles with little figurines(Similar to the Hot Wheels Batman Begins toys in 2005, and The Batman Hot Wheels toys in 2007), those speical Hot Wheels lines that cost more than a dollar(Examples: Hot Wheels Classics, Hot Rods, Since 68, etc), and/or Special Collectors Editions(Weither it's singles or a set). As well, Hot Wheels could still have a sperate The Dark Knight Hot Wheels line similar to Batman Begins in 2005. Not to mention, if you look at the list in the above link, it mentions the 1969 Corvette(Which could be used as the comics 1972 Corvette Batmobile) is part of the 2008 Mystery line, so if it's just plain blue(Or plain black for those who like their Batmobiles black instead of blue), it could technicially be considered a unofficial 1:64 scale Hot Wheels comics Batmobile. For info and picture of the 1972 Corvette Batmobile, here's a link from Batmobile History:
http://www.batmobilehistory.com/1972-batmobile.php
I just wanted to let everyone know about this incase there are those looking for 1:64 scale Batmobiles from Hot Wheels(Like say, the 1:64 scale 1960's T.V. Batmobile), eventhough most of us know by now that there will be Hot Wheels Batmobiles in the 1:50 scale being released in the near future.
